Erosion ~ The process of when sediments or parts of the earth are worn away by wind water or any other type of element
 
Drip Tip ~ A type of leaf the when water falls on it, the water makes its way to the center of the leaf and drips from the plant
 
Epiphytes ~ A plant, like an orchid , that grows off another plant
 
Vines ~ A hanging stem of a plant
 
Lianas ~ A part of a tree that grows from the bottom of the forest floor, up
 
Flowering Plants ~ Plants that give of flowers
 
Non-flowering  Plants ~ Plants that do not give of flowers

Emergent layer ~ The highest part of a rainforest
 
Canopy Layer ~ The second highest part of the forest where you would find flying animals like birds or butterflies
 
Understory ~ The second lowest part of the forest where you can find monkeys, jaguars and other animals that can not live very high in a tree
 
Forest Floor ~ The lowest part of the forest where you wouls mostly find insects, animal droppings, and tiny plants
